Haig Park Stories

My father loved the Australian bush and always said that Crimson Rosellas were his favourite birds. He often wore a blue and red striped rugby jersey – the same colours of these beautiful birds. He died in July this year, just as the wattle started blooming. The day after he died a family of Crimson Rosellas visited our garden – the first of the season! Then came the Eastern Rosellas, the Galahs and the wrens. All these beautiful birds will forever remind me of my father. We are so lucky to have this bird life living with us in Canberra.
