Archikidz Sydney

Archikidz, presented by Arque and the Australian Institute of Architects, is an architectural workshop for children that began in the Netherlands a decade ago and is now held in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Bergen, Barcelona and Buenos Aries annually. The inaugural Archikidz event in Australia was held in Sydney in October 2012 – ARCHIKIDZ! at Carriageworks. Archikidz seeks to facilitate in children an increased literacy in architecture and the built environment & provides a unique opportunity for children to gain a greater understanding of architecture and its importance in their lives. It is made possible thanks to the support of the City of Sydney.

In 2012, Public Associates created a refined event design suite of materials including logo, signage, banners, t–shirts, badges and bags.​ We continued their work in 2013 incorporating new characters and designing and programming a new website.
