We believe in long lasting products and transparent and honest design processes. Our illustrations are printed on 320 gsm archival fibre based cotton rag and each print is individually signed by hand by Camila, Co-founder of Eggpicnic. They are designed and made in-house in our studio in Canberra.

The Holy Cross Frog is only found in Australia. They occur throughout inland New South Wales and southern Queensland. Males of the species will call from small ephemeral pools to attract a mate using their owl-like “whoop whoop” call.

Fun Fact!
They “squeak” like a squeaky toy when they walk backwards or are in danger. They burrow underground for months at a time, only emerging after heavy rain.
